A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Senior Accounts Payable based in Macclesfield.

Description

The duties include:

  • Manage the global AP ledgers, covering UK & US predominantly and ensuring accuracy and clarity of postings
  • Manage a team of 2 Accounts Payable Clerks, ensuring appropriate targets are set and 1-2-1's held
  • Manage the global procurement process, ensuring PO's are raised when required and details submitted are accurate
  • Ensure bank postings to the AP ledger are reconciled
  • Effectively working towards set targets
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

  • Have experience in a similar role - Essential
  • Have experience managing/supervising a small team - Essential
  • Be highly organised and a strong communicator - Essential
  • Have experience working on US ledgers - Desirable
  • Have experience with PO processes and matching bank statements - Essential

Job Offer

This role is looking to pay up to £32,000 + Hybrid flexible working + progression
