The Institutional Client Group (ICG) Operations, Risk and Data Analytics Reporting (RADAR) team is a global function, created to provide senior management with operational business intelligence on performance, exposure and productivity across all product groups within Operations & Technology.

One of the key transformation initiatives within the RADAR Team is the Data Driven Risk Radar. The project involves Risk Profiling numerous Metrics used by the Controls Organization to identify what is risky to the firm. A new stream is being setup within the project to expand the tool to capture Trading Controls metrics in response to regulator commitments.

The RADAR team is looking for experienced Business Analysts to work on building out Trading Controls metrics, from requirements capture, testing and rollout to operations stakeholders. The candidate will need to possess excellent problem solving, analysis and communication skills and be able to work in a global and diverse team. Middle Office experience and familiarity with Trading Controls metrics such as Trade Capture Breaks, Front to Back Breaks and Trade Confirmation desirable. In addition, the candidate will need to bring a willingness to learn and garner a 'roll up your sleeves attitude' to ensure delivery of team's products.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead meetings with Operations stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and gather requirements and overall objectives
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on progress and risks & issues
  • Understand and identify appropriate systems and processes working with Operations and Technology to ensure development and onboarding of data feeds are in line with business requirements
  • Define business rules to enrich, transform, and normalize data across multiple systems and assign data ownership
  • Create, review and enhance Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Feed specifications and Dashboarding requirements to meet the needs of stakeholders
  • Develop and execute test plans that will ensure business requirements have been met / create test scripts including specific test cases and expected results
  • Communicate rollout plans and provide tool demos to stakeholders globally
  • Utilize standard processes, design and testing tools throughout project development life cycle
  • Ensure deliverables are being met on a timely basis


Qualifications:
  • Substantial relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer focused with excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups
  • Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to present a compelling case to influence others where appropriate


Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
