We are looking to hire a Financial accountant to join our growing finance team here at Venquis. This person will manage and promote the finance processes around reporting, accounting, credit control and business partnering for UK and overseas subsidiaries. The influence of role is far reaching and requires collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders around the business and needs to continually evolve and challenge the status quo in our dynamic working environment.

About the role:

• You will own the monthly finance timetable and production of the UK management accounts
• Lead on the reporting of the various entities within the Group including the UK parent
• Have Involvement in the financial planning and business planning for forecast and budgets
• Act as business partner for management information, notably around dashboard reporting for our sales teams 
• Endeavour to be the Finance Master Data owner for the accounting systems and middle office systems
• Working with the Management Accountant on the month end reconciliations to present to the Finance Director
• Lead on credit control for the UK clients to ensure we maintain our excellent DSO trends and high levels of collections
• Jointly manage the Group’s treasury and bank position with the Management Accountant across the business
• Act as authoriser for transactions up to level of responsibility assigned to the role
• Creation of cashflow forecasting models
• Act as deputy to Finance Director if required
