Description

• Act as the Business partner to provide financial insights and support to management for accounting information and in-depth analysis. Prioritize projects and workload of the team to meet and monitor deadlines.
  
• Participate and ensure that all month-ended, quarterly-ended and yearly-ended closing are completed accurately and properly reflected in the Profit and Loss accounts and Balance Sheets are in accordance with Corporate policies and guidelines in a timely manner
• Ensure meeting all closing deadlines as set by Corporate Office. Improve financial governance and compliance with existing and any new reporting requirements under US GAAP, IFRS and local regulations
• Review, prepare and consolidate actual and forecasting financial reports and provide critiques on actual performance against forecast and budget
• Prepare annual budget and long-range plan based on organization goals and Corporate guidelines
• Work closely with regional, and US-based accountants to manage the day-to-day accounting operations
• Act as key coordinator with business teams to prepare regular management reports and ad-hoc projects to facilitate performance review

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• At least 8 years of commercial accounting experience
• Big 4 external audit background
• Regional accounting experience with sizeable MNCs
• Proven manager with ability to lead a team
• Experience in developing financial analytical reports, business intelligence or financial planning tools
• Previous experience in dealing with management will be an added advantage
