About the Role:

The role requires a capable and highly driven individual with strong eagerness to learn and grow in a challenging yet rewarding fast paced environment. Airlift is looking for an individual to help manage the Accounts and Financial Reporting function through execution of effective and efficient accounting processes. This is a full-time role that will facilitate the business to grow and achieve scale. This role will be responsible for, and will be evaluated on delivery and Accounting and Financial Reporting needs that relate to Airlift's P&L, BS, and CF.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packs including P&L, BS and CF,
Responsible for timely and accurate reporting, including closing of monthly accounts with comparative prior period and responsible for correction, adjustments and reasoning for significant variances,
Drive and lead the implementation of the GL and Fixed Asset module as a part of overall ERP implementation,
Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and regulatory requirements,
Prepare weekly and monthly P&L for management,
Ensure completeness and accuracy of Revenue and cost reporting,
Assist the team in identifying and implementing process, improvement initiatives or standardization ideas that will increase productivity and efficiency, reduce cycle of processing time, and reduce error rates,
Liaise and coordinate with external auditors and arrange the required data for smooth running of the audit,
Liaise closely with stakeholders across different teams in Airlift to understand the business and to be able to adapt to fast growth,
Build new processes and constantly challenge the daily accounting and operational processes,
Demonstrate strong time management skills by being organized and prioritizing the team's task list,
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships along with team building.
