Management Accountant

Management Accountant will support the FC with cost accounting. Ensure accurate preparation of the month end and year end costs.

Description

Primary Accountabilities:

• Support period end recording and reporting of costs in compliance with policies, relevant accounting standards and other applicable regulations in line with published timetable for all business units
• Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations accurately, completely and in line with agreed timetable
• Support Financial Controller - Costs in maintaining a strong financial control environment with appropriate processes and compliance for all cost streams
• Support the group team in all relevant aspects of the group and local audits to ensure timely audit completion and submission of financial statements
• Support Financial Controller - Costs in preparing monthly cost analysis and respond to queries from the business and other areas of Finance
• Primary responsibility for preparing and posting month end cost journals

Specific Requirements:

• Capable of adhering to internal or external operational and financial deadlines
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritise own workload
• Ability to support/guide multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Good partnering skills to help key stakeholders, including FP&A and FBPs understand month on month costs
• Support annual audit of costs across all business units

Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus 15% bonus and 25 days holiday
