Our client a Market Leading, Global business are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join the team, their based on the outskirts of Woking so its better if you drive.

Description

As the Payroll Assistant you will work in the payroll team processing the UK staff payroll (c550 employees) and the EU payrolls (c35 employees). Ensuring that staff members are paid on time, and that tax and regulatory requirements are complied with.

• Run the monthly payroll process for all entities across the UK companies
• Run the monthly payroll process for 4 EU entities
• Raising and posting monthly payroll journals in the accounting systems on a timely basis.
• Manage PAYE and NI year end processes.
• Manage employee tax issues including P11D, P35, P60, P46.
• As a 'subject matter expert' (SME) effectively advise other parts of the organisation regarding payroll issues.
• Work with HR Managers to ensure that employee payroll information is accurate
• Prepare metrics and key performance indicators.
• Submit monthly reports to business e.g. Headcount report to Finance and UK HR Manager.
• Ensuring company policies are adhered to (e.g. approval matrix, financial guidelines, etc.)

Profile

• Experience in a payroll processing role is essential
• Use of ADP Freedom or ADP Streamline beneficial but not essential
• Experience working in teams is preferable
• "Roll up your sleeves" and can-do attitude, energetic, forward-thinker with strong ability to multi-task. .
• Strong customer service focus
