Client Details

My client is a global Retail/ FMCG company - They are market leaders in their field and due to growth they are now looking for a Finance Systems Manager.

Description

  • To support the Head of Finance in the day to day running of the Financial team
  • Prepare management accounting schedules to the support the monthly reporting
  • Prepare schedules for auditors at year end and ensure successful audit without non compliance
  • Run report and accurately analyse information for Head of Finance, Managing Director, and Management Team
  • Manage cash flow and currency within group
  • Ensure that financial accounting information will be reconciled accurately
  • Maintain and utilise the current ERP software in order to maximise reporting
  • Manage a team of 2
  • Committed to achieving excellent financial outputs from all areas of the Business and supporting Managers with their financial needs
  • Oversee costs in certain areas of the business
  • Fixed assets and depreciation
  • Manage deferred expenses and liabilities reconciliation
  • Oversee process and control documentation

You will also be responsible for the new System intergration:

  • Participate in initial product training, and intensive self-training to understand the solution in-depth
  • Process spec together with deployment team
  • Developing test scenarios and cases
  • Intensely testing and signing off templates
  • Preparation of training documentation
  • Presenting process specifications, test scenarios, and cases to project team; optimising outcomes together with deployment team
  • Understand, enhance, and develop the current Financial team processes for the new ERP system
  • Cover all areas of the Financial team processes, with the main emphasis on Financial Accounting
  • Provide timely and accurate Financial support in the day-to-day running of the department as required

Profile

  • Studying ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA - PQ or Finalist
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Previously implemented an ERP System
  • Management of staff
  • Excel - Pivot tables & V look ups, basic Macros
  • Able to produce full Management Accounts
