The Company

An international trading firm experiencing significant growth across their business, looking to hire a Senior Compliance Officer to support their Australian entity in the development of their group compliance framework and governance.

The Role

As a Senior Compliance Officer, your role will include, but is not limited too:

• Oversight and monitoring of compliance framework in line with Australian regulations
• Developing risk frameworks
• Enhancing risk management and compliance culture
• Contributing to risk and compliance discussions with Senior Management
• Supporting a Group Risk & Compliance team, with international exposure
• Liaising with regulators directly
• Ad-hoc duties as required
  

Your Profile

The successful candidate will bring demonstrable regulatory compliance knowledge gained within an Australian financial services firm. A good understanding of AML/CTF and local regulatory requirements will be highly advantageous.

Experience liaising with regulatory bodies in Australia will be highly regarded and candidates will be required to confident communicators who are comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders both locally and internationally.
