The Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the finance & accounting function of the local business
  • Review, communicate and ensure effective implementation of the process, system control, policies and procedures
  • Prepare timely financial and management reporting, and conduct variance analysis
  • Prepare annual budget and perform the constant review of the budget utilization to drive operational efficiency
  • Responsible for all legal and tax-related matters and provide related updated information to Management and Head office.
  • Maintain all relevant statutory reporting requirements
  • Cash flow management and cash flow forecasts
  • Provide financial and business advice to Management
  • Maintain full-set of accounting records
  • Responsible for all operating and office payments
  • Liaise with and maintain key working relationships with external parties including but not limited to bankers, external auditors, lawyer, tax authority and relevant government authorities
  • Assist with regional country managers regarding various operational issues
  • Assist top management in analyzing issues and implementing changes
  • Perform ad hoc duties as and when required

 The Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting or other relevant qualification
  • ACCA
  • Good working knowledge of the F&A applications (SAP)
  • Excellent communication skills, open-minded, proactive, detail-minded and analytical thinking, ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership, motivation, and managerial skills
  • Result driven and a self-starter, and willing to accept challenges and work under high pressure and tight deadlines
  • Good command of written and spoken English
