Purpose & Accountabilities:
- Process invoices in accordance with standard procedures set out in the standard AP Work Instruction as well as in the agreed-upon country specific guidelines;
- Timely and accurate processing – take ownership and initiative until transaction is successfully and
- accurately processed
- Thoroughly check work prior to completion of posting to avoid unnecessary corrections
- Have enough knowledge on withholding taxes, VAT and other tax related codes and transaction
- codes necessary to process the invoice correctly or respond to vendor inquiries;
- Investigate queries raised by stakeholders;
- Exercise diligence in reviewing and unblocking invoices;
- Ensure delivery within agreed global and local performance metrics;
- Input information into systems, maintain and update account records
- Communicate with internal and external customer in an effective and efficient manner
- Act as an effective team player
- Maintain and implement agreed self development plan
- Ensure that all relevant Shell and SSSC standards and guidelines are met;
- Carry out other assignments assigned by the supervisors
Dimensions:
- Processing FI and LIV invoices for BG entities from Europe, Asia, Africa region in the scope,
- Processing in following systems: BG SAP
- Over 2000 invoices processed monthly within the Team
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration preferred;
- Possess basic Financial Accounting knowledge;
- Good English communication skills;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines;
- Computer literate - knowledge of SAP application (P42)and other Microsoft software is a plus.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Fast and accurate data input skills

- Ability to work autonomously while keeping other team members informed as appropriate
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to recognize issues, attempt resolution and escalate problems if unable to resolve
12-month contract assignment with an option to extend
