Description
As a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, this role will report into the Senior Finance Manager for FP&A. The role has responsibility for key Group Planning activities, with a strong focus on modelling, annual group budget and in-year re-forecasting, success will require effective cross functional working with the finance function as a whole as well as with the wider organisation.
JOB PURPOSE
- Ownership of the annual Group Budget and Outlook processes including supporting analysis and preparation of board packs for approval
- Running the regular in-year P&L forecast as well as performing analysis to support external guidance on key financial metrics
- The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of the financial statement outputs of financial plans and provides a support structure to challenge business inputs
- The role will provide analysis on both current and future performance and gives guidance and interpretation of the key finance planning outputs. The role provides a true business partnership with the business owners and helps inform decisions that will shape the financial performance of easyJet
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- Qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience
- Excellent excel modelling skills
- Ability to embrace large, complex, preferably fast moving, entities
- Manages own time across variety of tasks and projects to deliver to deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to communicate and challenge effectively with key stakeholders at all seniority levels in the organisation
- Able to demonstrate the commercial value of Finance interventions or projects
- Ability to explain finance to non-financial stakeholders
- A proactive team player
- An ability to work on own initiative, and has the confidence to offer solutions
- A true self starter, with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm
