(Senior) GL Accountant with English - new position in a growing global department [NEW TRANSITION]

Main responsibilities:

• Performing day-to-day general ledger operations
• Preparation and/or review of general journal entries; keeping the register of fixed assets and calculation of depreciation value
• Month-end closing activities; reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Preparation of tax and statistical declarations
• Monthly reporting for the Group in Hyperion
• Performing control activities in accordance with SOX requirements
• Treasury activities (interest calculation, revaluation, intercompany settlements)
• Participation in internal and external audits
• Process improvement and optimisation

Requirements:

• BA or MA in Finance, Accountacy, Business or equivalent
• Strong professional experience in accounting (including General Ledger) and very good knowledge of accounting standards
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Very good knowledge of English (at least at B2 level)
• Good knowledge of German, Italian or French would be an asset (there is a possibility to work for these markets)
• Knowledge of SAP or Hyperion would be an asset
