The purpose of the role is to transform the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global P2P processes, policies and system capabilities, in order to achieve a Global standard in the end to end P2P cycle. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems across the P2P function, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Closely follows the strategic direction set by the GPO when establishing near and mid-term goals Interacts with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments Decisions that have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility Support and/or lead project teams engaged in the successful delivery of a wide range of Procure to Pay projects and initiatives (e.g., Ariba OnDemand, Coupa OnDemand) Advise upon design and support in the development of technology solutions that support best practice business changes Work closely with GPO and regional piers on roadmap assessments, process re-engineering, software selection evaluations, procurement system implementations, reporting and analytics Advise GPO on a wide range of Procure to Pay solutions Be a trusted advisor to GPO on the business needs and issues of the Global P2P function Identify and support business development initiatives. Develop thought capital and disseminate information around current and emerging trends Qualifications Who you are: Minimum 10 years of experience with: P2P business process/operations experience within the a shared service center environment. Functional knowledge of the Procure to Pay lifecycle Technical knowledge and hands on configuration experience of Oracle, Ariba, Coupa and/or Fieldglass infrastructure and integration layers Translating business requirements into Oracle, Ariba, Coupa and/or Fieldglass All phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC): requirements definition/gathering, application design and development and functional testing Procure to Pay application technical architecture Improving operational metrics, business case development and performance measurement Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, document and understand Procure to Pay requirements Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with Senior Management individually and as a member of an engagement team Demonstrated leadership skills (e.g., defining scope, setting project timelines and milestones, driving deliverables, identifying risks, and managing issues) and ability to manage dynamic projects with heavy Business engagement Demonstrated ability to understand needs cross functional between Finance & Procurement, develop proposed solutions and deliver high impact change initiatives Demonstrated ability to influence at a Senior Management level Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong competence in developing presentations (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)) Highly motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy and demanding team-oriented environment Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; Key Features of the Role This role will require frequent international travel - up to 70% time in first 18 months. Frequent travel required to our SDP partner locations in Kolkata and Bucharest, also travel to other regional SSC's in Costa Rica and APAC may be required to ensure Global alignment.
