Solvency II Manager

Solvency II Reporting Manager wanted for Global Insurance Group-Dublin City Centre Abrivia Recruitment are currently working with our client, a Global Non-Life Insurance Company, to find an experienced Solvency II Accountant to take control of the Solvency II reporting for the groups entities in Ireland and Europe. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working within Solvency II and Pillar III reporting and have the ambition and desire to set up and manage the Solvency II reporting structure within the group. This is an excellent role, on a Greenfield site, and offers the right individual the opportunity to make their mark in one of the world's largest Insurance Groups Your Role: Organise and manage the Pillar 3 implementation plan Main point of contact for any queries in relation to Solvency II reporting Ensure the correct timetables and KPIs are in place in relation to Solvency II financial reporting Keep an updated database on all Solvency II regulation that effects Pillar III reporting requirements Ensure that you are up to date on all Solvency II developments Provide training across the group in relation to new Solvency II regulations Work on any ad-hoc projects Your Skills: Qualified Accountant with strong exposure to Non-Life Insurance either direct or through practice Excellent hands on Solvency II and Pillar III experience Experience of working closely with senior management and reporting directly into the board Advanced excel and report writing skills Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP and Local GAAP an advantage Ability to multi-task and work across various business units Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Tadhg Kearney from Abrivia Recruitment at or alternatively call Tadhg at 01 9052560.
