KYC Manager (Assistant Vice President/Vice President) Overview: KYC Procedures Manager/Senior Manager works in the EMEA Know Your Customer (KYC) team responsible for creating, maintaining and ongoing updates to procedural documentation. This includes the preparation, development, due diligence and approval of KYC Records and supporting appendices in partnership with Relationship Management and Compliance teams. Responsibilities: Develop and document Operating procedures, Desktop procedures and workflow diagrams for KYC operations teams Present changes to Change Management forums and provide status updates to Global Procedures Manager Identify optimization opportunities in process procedures, drive automation of manual procedures and increasing STP Integration of AML/KYC Policy and Standards changes into operational procedures Implement structured Change Management of procedures and workflow whilst defining headcount capacity impact of procedural changes Carry out impact assessment of future technology, policy and controls changes on workflow, procedures and operations Communicate changes in procedures to KYC teams Follow up with regional stakeholders on delivery of their tasks and promote regional awareness in all regions and businesses Work with Relationship Managers, KYC Operations and Compliance, Technology and other functions Undertake other assigned projects / subtasks as requested Structure and develop PowerPoint presentations for senior management Prepare handover document to operations at implementation stage Manage information management and uploads to KYC Operations knowledge management portal Champion Change management and interact with senior management Liaise with functions across the organisation in relation to operational requirements for continuous improvement Analysing data and metrics associated with large scale projects and the resulting data requests/needs, such as scorecards for Senior Management Knowledge/Experience Extensive years of operations experience (preferably in banking) KYC/ AML knowledge is essential Project Management and prior consultancy experience highly advantageous Business Writing and Presentation Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels Strong ability in use of Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Word, Excel) Creation of senior management presentation and MIS 3 rd level qualification in Finance, Math or other discipline Qualification in project management (PRINCE, PMP) will be preferred.
