Our client, a multi-asset investment management firm, is looking for a highly hands on Senior Fund Accountant to assists them with any task falling under the ambit of Fund Administration for their office situated in the UAE.

Description
Primary to the role is the understanding of a fund life cycle from the launch of a fund to the distributions and close.
- Assisting in setting up the fund structure, the Limited Partnership vehicle and General Partner entity whilst also assisting in the on boarding of fund to eternal administration;- Ensuring maintenance of books of accounts for the funds;- Calculating NAV including the funds income and expense accruals and the pricing of securities at current market value;- Prepare and finalize Capital Accounts and Net IRR statements for each LP in the fund;- Prepare daily MTM sheets for our public equity portfolio and listed portfolio of funds and report to management;- Prepare and handle requests for audit confirmation/statement of investments/NAV statements from LP's in liaison with fund administrator;- Review and finalize the draw-down computation ensure orderly distribution of draw-down notices to LP's;- Operational support for the exit and acquisition of investment;
Profile
- Above all, must have the highest standards of integrity, morality, confidentiality and fiduciary responsibility
- Will have at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in fund administration;
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Equivalent;
- Good knowledge of accounting systems;
- Ability to liaison with internal (Investment management teams, finance department, regional financial controllers etc.) and external stakeholders (Investors, bankers, brokers, auditors etc.);
- Be extremely hands-on, detail oriented, with strong problem solving, project management and risk analysis skills;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English;
- Will be able to work autonomously, and as part of a team;
