As a General Accountant/R2R accountant in our factory in Poznań you will be part of newly created team that will grow and develop in the future. You will join us during the exciting project aimed at transitioning the business unit to new owner, rebuilding finance processes and the accounting team, as well as implementing new SAP system. Senior R2R Accountant/General Accountant

Project:

  • Rebuild finance team and finance/accounting processes.
  • Work closely with the business (logistics, procurement, quality, etc) on creating new processes that will shape future of the organization
  • Build and develop reports required for local and group requirements
  • Take part in SAP implementation, working closely with 3rd party providers and internal stakeholders
  • Identify improvements and automate processes

Business as usual:

  • Perform R2R transactions securing accurate and timely reporting processes performed by the team
  • Monitor & validate balances on General Ledger Accounts, prepare and post appropriate journals
  • Maintain General Ledger Master Data
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for corporate and statutory reporting processes; monitor and reconcile differences between corporate and statutory accounting;
  • Provides analyses and documentation for all audit purposes, including tax audits
  • Support corporate and statutory reporting by analyzing records on GL accounts and providing appropriate information
  • Bank statements postings and accounts reconciliations
  • Monitoring manual payments process, manual data input in banking system and assurance that payments are performed on time
  • Perform R2R reporting in respect of reports required by corporate & local statutory requirements
  • Prepare statutory returns covering Year End Financial Statements, NBP Reporting and GUS reporting
  • Monitor & validate balances on General Ledger Accounts ensure correct evidence on balance sheet accounts and profit & loss accounts, prepare appropriate journals if required;
  • Maintain up to date bank documentation including bank mandates
  • Register assets under constructions for corporate, statutory and tax purposes, perform assets capitalization; execute depreciation runs
  • Record assets disposals, transfers, scrapping and retirements
  • Ensure all documentation required for assets evidence is accurate and complete
  • Perform inventory accounting, valuation, reconcile inventory counts differences
  • Take part in audit procedures, provision of data analyses as per audit requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master Degree in Economics/Finance/or related
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced level of both - Polish and English skills
  • Good knowledge of SAP system.
  • Understanding of complex finance operations in international environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective financial management for a complex organization using technical expertise and analytical skills
  • Understanding of financial systems and processes
  • CIMA/ACCA/Chattered Accountant would be an asset
