The opportunities: your next adventure awaits

We are looking for a new member to join our corporate finances team. As part of you scope you will:

  • Ensure proactively all transactions are well recorded in our accounting 
    system in due time
  • Book payrolls into the accounting system in accordance with details 
    provided by the external provider 
  • Manage payments via WebBanking tool and reconcile with the 
    accounting system 
  • Input of supplier invoices and credit note information in the internal 
    database for approval purposes and registration in the accounting 
    system 
  • Management procurement database
  • Make sure suppliers are paid every two weeks and holds payment if necessary 
  • Assistance in the preparation of the monthly and annual VAT returns 
  • Assistance in the preparation of the monthly statistical reports 
  • Assist the Statutory Accounting Manager and the Financial Controllers in monthly closing 
  • Assist the Statutory Accounting Manager in year-end closing activities
  • Ensure that EY best practices and key policies are applied and 
    significant issues brought to the attention of the Statutory Accounting 
    Manager 
  • Takes part to ad hoc statutory accounting working groups 
  • Perform quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts 
  • Perform weekly checks on the transactions made 
  • Perform daily checks of bank balances
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account 
    information 
  • Proactively identification of issues

  • Qualifications:
    • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting 
    • You have from 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • You have competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and 
    • Outlook
    • Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must 
    • Attention to detail and ability to multi-tasking is an asset 
    • In terms of languages, you are fluent in English and French. Any other language will be considered as an asset.
