Senior Financial Accountant

We are delighted to be working on a superb Senior technically focused role, working for a business in North Sheffield. The role is paying £65-75K + excellent benefits including enhanced holidays, a huge pension and some flexible working.

The successful candidate will be confident and a good communicator who can influence change and will need to be robust and focussed on delivery of change rather than maintenance of the status quo.

The role is managing a team of 3, and have control over the delivery of consolidated management accounts for all business units with the required reporting timetables. They will look to improve the development and implementation of process and controls to ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled - and implement the process changes needed to reduce the month end reporting cycle.

We are looking for a practice trained Financial Accountant - with the ability to lead and influence those around them. This is a great role for someone looking to continue their step up the career ladder towards a Group FC / FD role - or someone who is happy at this level and enjoys the challenges that come with change.
