The client is a huge fashion retain chain that are based in the West End (Oxford Circus), and they are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the team (on a permanent basis) and focus on the E-Commerce side of the business. The client is looking for someone with strong analytical experience and the ability to build relationships & business partner with a number of people across the business.
Client Details
The client are a very large fashion retail chain that have stores across the whole of the UK. They have a huge E-Commerce platform and they are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the finance team. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Head of Finance, who was actually promoted from this role. The business is very friendly and they successful analyst will be liaising and working very closely with a number of senior stakeholders within the business.
Description
The successful Senior Finance Analyst will be:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the E-commerce side of the business
- P&L and Variance analysis (also providing commentary)
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis
- Help various directors and senior stakeholders to understand the performance of the market and various departments with your analysis
- Production of the Monthly International Management Reports and sticking to strict deadlines.
- Monthly stock analysis
- Prepare analysis of Sales and Profit for Concessions/Brands in Retail and E-commerce markets
- Assisting with the quarterly budgeting and forecasting
- Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Finance Business Partner
Profile
The successful Senior Finance Analyst will have:
- Previous experience working in a Commercial Finance Analyst role
- Have previous experience working in the finance team for a fashion retail company (desirable, not essential)
- Previous Business Partnering experience
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Summifs etc)
- Previous experience working with Financial Models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good at building relationships
