This is a really exciting time to join the Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance Team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. The successful post holder will join a dedicated team within the Quality Department, focused on developing and monitoring quality assurance requirements. The post holder will provide direct support to the Head of Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance in strengthening a culture of assurance management across the organisation.

This role includes collaborative working , through leading on the monitoring of local quality requirements to provide assurance around safe patient care and lead in areas such as quality assurance visits , GIRFT, NTPs, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Fundamental Standards, CQUIN compliance, and also provider negotiations regarding service quality developments where concerns and risks are identified.

The successful candidate will an experienced, aspiring graduate, with a clear vision, and have the ability to manage and prioritise their workload in line with changing service needs , including as we respond alongside partners to issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

There will also be a key focus on providing and presenting quality assurance reporting to a range of stakeholder groups including internal and external Committees.

The role requires specialist knowledge in regulatory assurance, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills.
