Intern, Business Analyst (Talent Communities & Learning COE)
Avanade's Talent Communities and Learning Center of Excellence is helping build a digitally enabled HR organization that delivers world class employee experiences. The Business Analyst Intern will leverage their strong interest in business process design and their love for driving value through data to improve operational efficiency and decision making related to employee skill development at Avanade. The ideal candidate will have experience with at least one core component of Microsoft's Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate).
Duties and Job Responsibilities
Job Location: North America- Avanade office locations*
This role currently requires the ability to work remotely. If and when we return to in-person working you must be able to work in an Avanade office location during the academic year.
Work Hours: 20-30 hrs. per week
Flexibility around the hours for ad hoc adjustments due to exams, etc.
Targeted Start Date: May 2020
Academic requirements:
• Actively pursuing a graduate degree in one of the following areas:
§ Business Analytics
§ Business Administration
§ Similar technical or business degree
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above
Your skill set and experience likely includes:
• Data analytics and data modeling
• Familiarity with at least one core component of Microsoft's Power Platform OR demonstrated proficiency in similar analytics and automation tools
• Proven verbal communications skills - able to effectively work with leadership and other team members
• Creative and proactive problem solver
• 1-2 years of related work experience

- Conduct internal interviews and data gathering sessions with internal stakeholders
