• Support our consultants in projects pertaining (but not limited to) developing frameworks to address new regulatory requirements, facilitating risk workshops and governance conversations with C-suite clients, highlighting improvement insights on business processes, advising on climate and sustainability related topics across the varied sectors such as Financial Services, Transport, Healthcare, Education, Real Estate, Government, etc.
• Deliver assignments to a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction
• Work with our consultants in assessing and developing sound and effective compliance, assurance and internal control framework
• Work on a range of engagements across the teams, including advisory, assurance and strategy development
• Facilitate and support meetings and workshops, including preparing workshop material, taking notes and meeting minutes
• Performing reviews of compliance, risk and control frameworks of financial institutions against applicable laws and regulations and industry best practices, and where gaps are identified, provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Advising clients on integration of compliance and risk management within corporate critical processes including strategic planning, budgeting etc. working with clients on tailoring business process programmes to support their strategic objectives and risk management agenda.
• Performing in-depth risk diagnostics, identification and measurement covering strategic, financial, operational and compliance risks.

Specifically for AAS, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Ability to support Partners and Directors on engagements on technical accounting, regulatory, or finance IT
• Partnering our clients and managing client relations by understanding their needs
• Collaborate with function experts within the KPMG network in providing solution to client
• Manage finance and accounting advisory engagements and provide finance process review and/or finance-related support to clients in the region
• Ensure effective and efficient project execution, in accordance with the stipulated timeline
• Provide innovative accounting and financial reporting solutions
• Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising and financing structures, financial instruments, revenue recognition, etc
• Provide solutions to reporting systems implementation eg. Data specification and preparation of chart of accounts
• Coaching and training junior team members to build up our accounting advisory capabilities

We are looking for dynamic individual(s) with:
• A minimum of three years of experience with a public accounting firm, advisory services firm, or a large multinational organization in leading finance change or corporate accounting, or system reporting
• At minimum, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; licensed CPA or CPA equivalent
• Experience and strong interest in insurance and technologies for finance and accounting
• A strong knowledge and practical application of one or more of the following: U.S. GAAP, IFRS, business combinations, share options, or financial restatements
• The ability to lead diversified teams
• Strong analytical, communication skills and experience in project management
• The willingness to take on a role with 20%-40% travel
• Applicants with experience in insurance will be highly regarded
