Senior Business Analyst - Stores R10 Application Team

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Stores Application team responsible for the Front office and POS/SCO application, in the role you will work closely with business and IT stakeholders across multiple projects and will utilise your prior retail experience to analyse and document the requirements in an agile methodology.
This role exists to liaise with business and technology stakeholders for delivery of business requirements which form the basis of change to business processes, policies or systems, to ensure that the delivered solution meets the needs of the business.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborating with Business stakeholders and the Application teams to provide concept, feasibility analysis and functional requirements for initiatives. To elicit, analyse, communicate and validate the requirements for changes to business systems, processes and policies.
  • Create Business requirement documentation, conduct walkthroughs and assessments with Developers
  • Work with Business Stakeholders to advise on process requirements
  • Facilitate Business Stakeholder demonstrations
  • Support QA Team during Test Scenario planning and Test Execution of proposed solutions
  • Plan project deliverables and improvements for BAs under your guidance
  • Supervise, guide and quality review all tasks and deliverables produced by BAs under your guidance
  • Contribute to upskilling of and provide direction to support team members
  • Facilitate and run team meetings, stand ups and retrospectives as required
  • Become a SubjectMatter Expert and thought leader of a Business Critical Application


What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience in a similar sized environment
  • Experience in Retail desirable
  • Experience with 24/7 business critical applications
  • Working with diverse Business stakeholders to influence solutions
  • Experience in communication with all levels of management
  • Experience in writing Epics and Stories (desired but not mandatory)
  • Experience in Agile methodology (desired but not mandatory)
  • Experience in using Jira and confluence to document user flows, epics, user stories (desired but not mandatory)
  • Coupled with tertiary level qualifications
