An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading IT business based in Stockport due to continued growth and expansion. This company are currently at 50 Million Turnover and looking to grow further in the coming year.
Description
The Assistant Accountant role is a 12 month contract initially.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have the opportunity to look after:
- Management accounts reporting - prepayments, accruals, evaluation / analysis and corrective actions
- Cost control and responsibility accounting
- Post management accounts exercises
- Regulatory compliance including P11D, PSA, ONS surveys, VAT
- Year end and Audit preparation and assistance
- Specific cover for Fixed Assets
- Contribute in building a high-performing team
- Assist in business process review and continuous improvement programme
- Ad-hoc financial accounting support
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified/AAT Qualified or Qualified by experience
Have experience in Assisting in preparation of Management Accounts
Be available to consider a 12 month contract
Be able to work 2 days a week in Stockport office (remote working available)
