This is a newly created role for an Assistant Financial Controller to work for a Telecommunications who are continuing to experience organic growth and acquisitions. This opportunity will suit a driven candidate to assist in running the group function and delivering management accounts.

My client is a Telecommunications that has been around for the last 15 years and connects the entity of the UK. They are now looking for a new Assistant Financial Controller to join their team.
Description
Assistant Financial Controller
Roles and duties:
- Production of the Management Accounts
- Contribute to the Group reporting process (incl. KPI)
- Investigating variances to provide commentary on the company results
- Tracking the underlying profitability of the main trading entity
- Revenue and cost analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Weekly cashflow forecasting
- Assist with annual external audit, stats preparation, and tax advisors
- Preparation of corporate regulatory compliance requirements
Profile
The successful candidate:
- Will be an ACCA/CIMA finalist looking to qualify within the next year
- Will be confident running the accounts for a multi-entity business
- Will have experience of supporting Auditors for annual accounts sign off
- Will have excellent Excel skills
Job Offer
The successful candidate will be paid £48,000 - £52,000 per annum.
