You will:

  • Responsible for review of data collection analysis and calculations completed by the preparation team
  • Manage resources within the team and coordinate activities within Glasgow Tax leadership
  • Obtain an end to end understanding of the U.S. Domestic and U.S. State and Local compliance process and dependencies
  • Ensure all process steps meet required standard and timelines
  • Execute continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Provide support for status reporting and metrics
  • Manage day to day responsibilities of IT processes and where appropriate perform system testing
  • Liaise with the relevant stakeholders around proposed revisions to tax policies and procedures.
  • Management and development of staff, including performing mid and year- end reviews

Team Profile:

EMEA Tax is responsible for Corporate Tax Compliance, Indirect Tax, Tax Advisory, US Tax Reporting and Global Tax Risk with offices in London, Glasgow, Frankfurt and Budapest. Glasgow members work closely with the other EMEA and NY offices, and wider Finance.
