The Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing and establishing an enterprise GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) architecture that joins up the data taxonomy and processes across an integrated platform that includes MetricStream (MSI) M7, ServiceNow, Appian and other reporting & MI systems.
  • As enabler to the GRC transformation to support Risk and CFCC Productivity initiative, to support the digitisation of processes across Governance, Risk and Compliance thru liaising where appropriate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business processes and problem statements, facilitating and recommending solution, ensuring that the design solution adheres to design principles

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead the Business design phase with internal and/or external stakeholders, business project manager and project owner for all GRC technology and system applications.
  • Organise and drive workshops with business leads, engage and manage operational risk stakeholders.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artefacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), iii. Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs)
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
  • Drive and challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
  • Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret needs and translate business requirement into application and GRC requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
  • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
  • Be the liaison between the operational business units, technology teams and support teams


Our Ideal Candidate

  • Business Degree or Equivalent
  • 5+ years of system implementation preferable within risk and compliance spaces.
  • Ability to create effective work relationships across functions & borders
  • Ability to manage trade-offs of system needs between stakeholders
  • Can work independently to strict timeframes
  • Strong team collaboration skills to collectively deliver system priorities
  • Focused, organised and results-oriented
  • Experience with reporting tool such as Tableau is preferred
