We have a rare opportunity to join our Accounting Team as a Financial Accountant in a year of growth and change for Tiffany.

About the Opportunity:

This position will assist the Accounting Manager on all accounting, internal and external (statutory) financial reporting, financial compliance and tax matters; as well as financial transaction processing for the Company's retail and ecommerce operations in ANZ.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
  • Ensuring timely and accurate financial information is prepared in accordance with locally required GAAP as well as Company accounting policies
  • Delivering timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the Parent company, as well as compliance with local statutory reporting requirements
  • Assisting with the month-end closure procedures; journals, BS reconciliations, P/L variance analysis
  • Managing the balance sheet; identifying risk areas and implementing measures to manage such risks; examples include inventory accounting and intercompany transactions and balances
  • Overseeing tax compliance, including income and GST, coordinating with Corporate and third-party providers
  • Coordinating statutory audit activities with external financial audit firms
  • Identifying areas of continuous improvement and operating efficiencies
  • Answering business process queries & assisting the various business units with ad-hoc requests


Ideal candidate:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
  • 3-5 years accounting experience with a combination of in Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting company experience audit and retail/FMCG industry background
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and key accounting concepts
  • Knowledge of statutory tax requirements relating to BAS & GST
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Experience with JDE, Hyperion, Attache, SAP Business Objects is a plus
  • Organised, analytical, problem solver with good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and function amidst tight deadlines and changing priorities
