Primary Responsibilities
  • Receive and create instruments and counterparty information
  • Update instrument and counterparty information
  • Update other non-client/non-instrument general static such as holiday tables, FICS (FATCA), FI Key (EDW)
  • Setup of nostro cash account
  • Setup of client cash account
  • Setup segregated account
Fees Administration
  • Monthly monitoring and processing of fee payment to custodians
  • Update custody fee rate for advisory clients
  • Quarterly export custody fee for advisory client accounts for other teams onward processing for their respective markets
  • Perform adhoc and quarterly processing of Management and Safekeeping fee for Discretionary/Advisory Portfolio Management clients
  • Pass operating loss/goodwill GL entry on ORI related items
  • Fee waivers setup in system
General
  • Ad-hoc tasks / projects as assigned by Line Manager
  • Ensure the processes are executed in line with the SOPs of the team and ensure team members understand their roles
  • Execute the control framework of the team (eg. EOD checklist, incident management, etc)
  • Execute the client delivery framework and ensure team members understand the client experience and how they impact it
  • Handhold exceptions and escalations until the event is complete with full resolution
  • Reporting of statistics/volume of the team for MIS purpose


Qualifications
Work Experience
  • 3-5 years relevant knowledge in Operations, Treasury and/or Securities related roles
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex matters and eye for detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and process minded, understand processes and workflows from start to end
Academic and professional qualifications
  • Polytechnic diploma or University degree
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Clear written & verbal communication skills with all levels of staff
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
