I am currently supporting an amazing Employee Benefits and Pensions Company across the UK, who are looking to recruit a highly skilled competent Associate Consultant (Group Risk) to join their Team.
Location: Edinburgh or remote working (can be based anywhere in the UK)
Salary: up to £35k + Benefits
The opportunity:
As an Associate Consultant in the Group Risk team, you will operate as a benefits specialist, overseeing and supporting the delivery of group risk services across a broad portfolio of clients / benefit programmes and significant consulting projects and assignments for key clients.
Responsibilities include:
• Direct contact with clients to resolve queries, support relationship development and to ensure the timely delivery of services.
• Undertaking market review and re-broking exercises for both new and existing clients.
• Support lead consultants in managing the annual client lifecycle activities including directly undertaking the installation process for scheme renewals and transfers.
• Attend client meetings.
• Overseeing and maintaining up to date scheme specifications, records, and files.
• Ensuring that the company FCA requirements are fully adhered to.
• Maintaining accurate time recording and charging to clients where applicable.
• Adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures (CCPs).
• Reporting any suspected breaches to management / compliance department upon discovery.
Successful candidate will have:
• Experience in Group risk related environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits design and health insurance operations.
• Must be at intermediate level or higher on Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and preferably Excel (Pivot tables, Vlook-ups).
