We are looking for Finance candidates for the position of interim Covid Finance Analyst with one of our largest public sector clients. Our client is providing support to a number of schemes supporting the national pandemic response to Covid. They require a Finance Analyst to support this work. The role of the post holder will be varied and dynamic in relation to the service provision required. This is a fixed term post to the end of March 2022.
The finance analyst will assist the Head of Finance and other managers in the designated areas of responsibility in all areas of financial management, including costing and budgetary reporting, providing advice to various levels of management throughout the designated areas of responsibility, ensuring financial control. The finance analyst will support the end-to-end process to ensure all resource is recovered from Commissioners as set out in contract agreements, work involving record keeping and General Ledger input and analysis.

Candidate Spec:
- Accountancy qualifications are required - AAT or Part qualified CCAB minimum
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience of working in management accounts
- Good communication skills
- Ability to deliver high quality work to an agreed deadline
- The ability multitask and maintain high levels of attention to detail
