An excellent opportunity is available with a leading waste management business based near Cardiff for a Credit Risk Team Leader to manage a team of Credit Risk Analysts. The Credit Risk team protect investments by carrying out Credit Risk Management with the aim to maximise sales and profits, whilst minimising bad debt.This role will be office based so ideally candidates will be based in the Caerphilly/Cardiff area.
About the role:
You will be managing a team who will proactively review, control, report and advise on customer risk matters to ensure the business is able to make good judgement when trading. You'll lead the team and prioritise the workload of the Credit Analysts activities ensuring full training and support is offered to them.
You'll drive and measure the team's KPI's and build relationships with internal customers to understand their business needs.
There will also be an element of governance in the role, ensuring full credit compliance and adherence to the Group Finance and Credit Policy.
Whilst keeping one eye on the day-to-day, you'll also have an eye on the future, leading Credit Risk projects with a continuous improvement mentality, ensuring we're adding value to our service for our customers.
About you:
Credit Risk Management experience, ideally B2B
CICM qualified ideally (or a relevant qualification)
Team management experience
You'll be a great communicator and commercially savvy
