Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team - you must be analytical, inquisitive and have excellent attention to detail.
Set in the picturesque village of Ripponden, our head office is a great place to work - we have a state of the art on site gym and a fantastic cafe serving healthy food throughout the day.
JLA is a mission critical infrastructure solutions business offering services in Laundry, Catering, Heating, Fire Safety, Infection Control and Air Conditioning. The company offers an end to end on premise, machine supply and breakdown service proposition under the name Total Care and additional products and services. JLA is driven by a world class Sales & Marketing engine, owns and maintains all assets, and has an efficient on-site operations team working with customers.
Key tasks
* To assist with the preparation of monthly Commercial Review packs
* To support the Sales Team with pricing requests and tender modelling
* To produce regular customer, revenue, operational & other commercial reporting
* To provide reporting and support to our expanding Heating and Fire verticals
* To calculate commission payments and provide summaries of the data
* To support other members of commercial finance team with ad-hoc project work
* To support with the weekly flash sales reporting
* To support with implementation of a new CPQ tool (Customer Price Quote) tool
* To maintain a good working relationship with our internal customers, ensuring a first-class service is offered
* To operate at a level that represents the function and culture of the business
* Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Full time - Monday - Friday
Qualifications/Skills & Experiences
Essential
* Self-starter with drive and commitment
* Independent worker with ability to learn quickly
* Excellent Excel skills
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Especially MS Powerpoint and Outlook)
* Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
* Excellent organisation skills
* Able to cope with multiple priorities and a changing environment
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A positive and flexible approach to work and colleagues
Desirable
* Ability to interpret financial data and relay it back to non-financial colleagues
* Experience of working in business finance
* Experience of working in a busy office environment and to tight deadlines
* Knowledge of Power BI
* Ability to analyse large datasets to monitor performance, highlight trends and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
* Learning Agility;
* Team Player with the ability to work and participate in multiple working groups;
