We are looking to recruit an accounts assistant on a permanent basis for our well established client based in Skipton near Snaygill Industrial Estate. The ideal candidate would have good experience/knowledge of the accounts industry and have worked on the below software and duties.
THE ROLE:
* Working within Sage 200 to process transactions
* Processing purchase invoices and credit notes
* Processing sales invoices and credit notes
* Resolving invoice and supplier queries
* Performing credit control functions
* Performing supplier statement reconciliations
* Assisting with month-end procedures
* Preparing reports
* Preparing reports
* General office duties
THE CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience within Sage 200 preferable
* Flexible approach with a "can do" attitude
* Ability to work independently
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Enthusiastic and a fast learner
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines under pressure
* Friendly and dependable
* Must be able to be discreet and trustworthy
* Effectively communicate with other team members and departments
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS
* 23,000 per annum (salary dependant upon experience)
* Full or part time hours will be considered
* Office based, free car parking
* Local fuel stations, public transport routes and eateries
