Senior Business Analyst- PAY - Monitoring and Support

Summary of the Role

The CSS-PAY division under Amadeus handles critical and complex product of Payments. The team is responsible for the integration of various payment service providers, schemes and acquirers. The team has full ownership of BIN and instalment products. You will be part of the maintenance and Support definition/business analysis team. This is a techno-functional role which includes interacting with clients and partners, understanding the requirements, proposing solutions, testing and monitoring post production.

Main Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of PMM and Apm for the status of capture and refund
• Mail monitoring to check if all is okay
• Communication with partner merchant and customer service team in case of any recoveries needed
• Injection of message in case of capture failures to recover the same
• Providing the requirements for scripts in case of many recoveries to be done
• Understanding of database and basic queries
• Taking handover of new links developed.
• Documentation of all new procedures used to handle the recoveries
• Excellent knowledge of the payments domain and architecture as well as current product trends to propose solutions on top of existing ecosystem of products
• Propose strategic solutions for the requirements identified based on the needs of the customer
• Ability to propose process improvement solutions
• Present the functional knowledge of the product to the customers, development & QA teams
• Excellent coordination skills across teams
• Gather requirements, prepare use cases, flow diagrams and create specifications documents
• Should be able to develop requirement documents, process flows, and user guides
• Should be able to review test plan and test cases
• Should be able to write brush test cases and perform UAT testing if needed
• Validation of new features in Agile methodology
• Production incident analysis and providing support to customer
• Be curious on payment trends and propose new ideas which can be built as a product

Skills & Knowledge - Technical and Functional

• Demonstrate problem solving and analytical abilities to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and apply sound business and technical domain knowledge
• Must have worked as a Lead Business Analyst in a techno functional environment
• Hands on experience in preparing requirements documents, use cases, process flows, user manuals
• Should have SCRUM/Agile methodology exposure
• Should have good troubleshooting skills
• Good to have exposure to Web Services
• Should have working knowledge of file formats such as XML, XSD, JSON, ISO
• Must have working knowledge of database and SQL queries
• Individual needs to have knowledge on UNIX
• Experience in interacting with Dev and testing teams.
• Experience in Customer UAT
• Inclined towards innovation and creativity
• Knowledge of a scripting language is a plus
• Knowledge on payment aspects is a plus
• Individual should be able to present the project details without any ambiguity
• Individual needs to exhibit high level of curiosity to understand the domain and have skills to quickly grasp and understand products or behaviour of applications under the ecosystem of related applications
• Individual should display clarity in thought and excellent communication in presenting his/her product
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required
• Attitude in looking beyond the task at hand to have a big picture with good user and business perspective on the products worked upon

Education and Years of Experience

• B.E/B.Tech with 7-8 years of experience
