AVP, Finance Project and Business Analyst, MRPA - Management Reporting Solutions

Roles and Responsibilities

Be part of our finance project team to enhance the Planning and Reporting system for the organization, collaborating with teams across Finance, Business Units and Countries to improve the planning and reporting process
Participate in the on-going enhancement, upgrade and enrichment of our Finance data mart and management reporting system
Develop and maintain finance system calculation rules and parameters to produce business unit profitability information, including funds transfer pricing, cost allocation and risk capital attribution.
Perform value-added analyses with the data available in our data mart that support business decision making for the organization
Support Finance data quality assurance team in ensuring data quality standards in the Finance data mart are met in producing management reporting information, performing activities like data QA checks and reconciliation.
Monitor outstanding issues in Finance data mart and ensure that they are resolved promptly

Qualifications
Requirements

A good university degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
Experience in using Planning and Reporting software applications (e.g., Hyperion, Tagetik, Anaplan) to develop planning and reporting workflow, forms and standard reports for business performance measurement. Experience with dashboarding tools like Qlikview will be an advantage
Good understanding of management reporting and planning functions in banking or financial institutions environment and demonstrated success in areas of planning and forecasting, financial/management reporting, and analysis
Good understanding of management accounting methodologies applicable to banks or financial institutions, including funds transfer pricing, capital allocation, risk/return concepts and other performance measurement metrics
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse stakeholder group
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to apply logical reasoning and exercise independent judgement on issues and methodologies
Adaptable and able to think broadly, with proven success as an individual contributor
