We are currently approx. 5000 Neste Employees in Europe, Asia and North America. We are the world's largest producer of renewable diesel refined from waste and residues, and we are also bringing renewable solutions to the aviation and plastics industries.
We are having an investment program of 1.5 billion EUR in our Singapore refinery to increase renewable products production capacity to meet the growing global market demand for low-carbon solutions in transport and cities, aviation, polymers and chemicals.
Regional finance team has an important role to play in our growth journey and as a Finance and Administration Manager of Neste Australia, you will have an important role in supporting our growth journey in Australia and in the region. Your primary responsibility is to overview and control the operations and finances of our Australian entity, while concurrently supporting the local team in administrative matters. All these require cooperation with multiple stakeholders both locally (internal & external) and within the region as well as with the Headquarters in Finland.
To be successful in the role you combine proactive financial partnering with solid knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. You are development oriented and possess technical skills to improve our accounting and reporting processes. You work in an independent and proactive way and can influence others without a formal position. You are able to take the lead and have a holistic approach on the financials but at the same time have an eye on those business critical details.

In your Finance role, you will for instance:
- Be accountable for timely and accurate reporting of the entity
- Be responsible of the functioning of daily finance processes of the entity
- Control and coordinate operational financial matters of the entity with the internal Global Financial Services team (i.e. SSC) and external service provider (e.g. tax reporting)
- Coordinate entity's financial closing tasks with the internal Global Financial Services team (i.e. SSC) and external service provider
- Ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed and documented
- Develop our accounting processes while also being able to perform certain routine tasks by yourself
- Develop entity's reporting processes
- Review and analyze company financial reports and results
- Manage the preparation of the entity's budget and agreed KPIs
- Prepare rolling financial forecasts for Group reporting
- Be a solid and trusted finance partner for internal stakeholders, for instance assist management in the formulation and follow up of its overall strategic direction
- Ensuring of general compliance of the company (audits (statutory and possible internal), legal compliance, risk management, tax and customs issues as well as other compliance processes)
- With the support of our legal department, manage company legal structure and appropriate annual company documentation with external service provider
- Maintain banking relationships together with our Treasury department
In your Administration role, you will for instance:
- Be responsible of contract management
- Coordinate ICT services and liaise with Neste regional ICT team and external ICT service providers
- Be responsible for facility management and office support services
- Be responsible of office HSSEQ Administration
- Be responsible of travel administration as the local travel management system (Concur) key user
- Support HR from local perspective

- Master or Bachelor of Science or similar, relevant university degree
- 5-10 years of work experience from managing an entity's finances
- Solid financial accounting and reporting knowledge
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and coordination skills
- Understanding of local GAAP and IFRS
- ERP/financial system understanding, preferably SAP and HFM
- Service mindset with can-do attitude and passion for continuous development
- Excellent co-operation, communication, and influencing skills
