Description

The Assistant Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and reports into the Financial Controller.

You will have the opportunity to look after:

• Month end procedures to ensure all companies are closed and reconciled to deadlines
• Full balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities
• Reviewing cost and revenue nominals to ensure postings are accurate and amending/reallocating costs as required
• Calculating and posting monthly revenue releases and other income
• Month end prepayments and accruals adjustments and releases for all companies
• Reconciling fixed assets and posting depreciation
• Loan interest calculations and postings
• Cost recharges across entities
• Reconciliation of all intercompany balances
• Review and comparison to budget for all P&L nominals
• Liaise with Commercial team as required to assist with any ledger queries to explain variances etc

Profile

In oder to apply for the role you should:

Be a Part Qualified Accountant or higher (studying or qualified under ACA/ACCA or CIMA) or Qualified by experience

Have expereince of Balance sheet reconciliation/accruals & prepayments

Live within commuting distance of Alderley Edge

Be available to consider a temporary role initially
