Interim Management Accountant / East Sussex / Finance

Client Details

An expanding East Sussex based organisation are seeking an Interim Management Accountant on a temporary basis. This could lead to permanent in the future.

Description

As Interim Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Senior Management Accountant in carrying out our month end process: posting accruals and prepayments and other journals, reports, depreciation, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with the monitoring of cash flows and completing payment runs
  • Assisting the Department Lead in overhead, sales & cost of sales analysis as well as formatting our reporting pack
  • Working with the finance team to support sales & purchase ledger as well as credit control
  • Assisting with VAT returns, maintaining the fixed asset register, payroll and cash flow

Profile

  • Working towards a recognised qualification such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA
  • Intermediate excel knowledge
  • Experience of working in an SME with strong commercial awareness

Job Offer

£15-17 per hour
