Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to support a growing business and support them in their global operations.
You will be responsible for, or provide direct support for, general ledger accounting, the financial audits for our UK & Poland entities and partnering with third party providers.

Your New Role
Key accountabilities:
- Work with auditors in support of statutory, group, and tax audits
- Ensure that all audit requests are responded to in a timely manner
- Work with and support third parties for tax and accounting support
- Work closely with all members of the finance department including the International Accounting Senior Manager, Senior Accountant, Controller, Head of FP&A and the CFO
- Assist in the preparation and filing of the UK and Polish Financial Statements and Tax Returns
- Assist in the migration of financial data from third party providers ERP to internal ERP.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified accountant in ACA, ACCA or CIMA;
- Minimum of 2 years PQE overall experience in payroll, accounting, or finance
- Proficiency with MS Excel and comfort with the remaining MS Office Suite
- Must be able to effectively communicate and build professional relationships
