A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Senior Purchase Ledger role based in central Manchester.

Description

The duties include:

  • Monitor and maintain all group account ledgers
  • Coordinate purchase ledger function (GRNI level, query resolution, weekly payments etc)
  • Set up supplier accounts ensuring supplier information is up to date
  • Process Invoices ensuring all pricing and supplier information is up to date and accurate for all suppliers
  • Production of sterling payments
    • Posting/allocating payments
    • Production of remittance advices
  • Production of other currency payments (mainly Euro)
  • Resolve outstanding invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Ensure GRNI is kept at the levels required by the business
  • Reconciliation of GRNs/POs/purchase invoices
  • Maintain relationships with purchasing team and suppliers
  • Liaise with Sales / Operations / Purchasing where any payment invoice issues affect supply
  • Reconciliation of Group Accounts Payable Ledgers
  • Support additional members of the accounts team and lead from the front.

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

  • Have experience as a senior member of accounts payable - Essential
  • Have supervised or at least supported junior members in a team - Essential
  • Be adaptable to the changing needs of the business - Essential
  • Have used Sage - Desirable

Job Offer

This role is looking to pay up to £27,000 + parking + pension
