Your field of responsibility

Your responsibilities include: 

  • A challenging role in the Global Tax Accounting Function (GTAF), requiring high level of flexibility and innovation in a dynamic and demanding tax environment
  • Preparation of regional tax computations, disclosures and compliances
  • Support in preparation of indirect tax workings and reports
  • Preparation of group tax reports to facilitate global tax review
  • Opportunity to work on maintenance and improvement to the Global Tax Accounting Software
  • Support in preparation and presentation of global month-end tax positions
  • Support in preparation of DTA and tax forecasting
  • An environment to innovate and optimize the existing process and systems within the tax accounting and compliance domain.

Your future colleagues 

You join the Global Tax Accounting Function (GTAF), in the Credit Suisse CFO division, which is responsible for preparation and filing of tax returns, tax accounting and reporting for Credit Suisse Group as well as regional entities to internal and external partners. 

The team is dedicated, results oriented, hardworking, proactive, collaborative, and forward-looking. We file accurate and complete group tax disclosures and regional tax returns within due date.

Your skills and experience 

To excel in this role, you should possess: 

  • A Chartered Accountant/University degree or an equivalent educational background coupled with a recognized tax accounting qualification is essential
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a tax accounting or tax compliance role and with tax reporting responsibilities preferably within a global financial services company, a multinational corporation or accountancy firm.
  • Proficiency of international accounting standards and specifically tax accounting related standards such as US GAAP (ASC 740) and / or IFRS (IAS 12)
  • Proven knowledge of MS Office suite of products, Advance Excel, and VBA would be an added advantage.
  • Experience on tax reporting software (e.g.: Longview, OneSource) would be a plus
  • Desire to learn the business processes being supported and assist in the continuous operational improvements
  • Outstanding people and team skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst delivering on time with integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
