Interim Finance Manager
This is an interim Finance Manager role to cover for a period of initially 6 months working for a well regarded education organisation. The role will be remote for the majority of the 6 months, but may well require meetings on-site in the near future so it's anticipated you'll be within reasonable commuting distance of Leeds/Yorkshire.

As Interim Finance Manager you will be leading a small team who are responsible for the production of management accounts for a specific educational area.
You will use your accountancy skills to lead across a number of key areas including: the effective and efficient management and co-ordination of the day-to-day financial operations as well as being the first point of contact for financial queries and requests. You will support colleagues in the management accounts function in the production of forecasts and budgets.
You will support the wider finance team across the approaching year end tasks.
Interim Finance Manager candidates will ideally be fully qualified accountants ( ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CIPFA or equivalent) and will have strong finance manager skills along with the experience of working within complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
Education experience would be extremely useful, but this could be a great opportunity to move into an education role if you have only previously worked within the wider public sector or not for profit sectors.
A salary of circa £45,000 - 55,000 (depending upon relevant experience) with 40 days holidays including statutory days and a very good pension scheme
