Senior Finance Manager (Accounts and Taxation - UK)
**Job Role: A strong Manager to Work with a team of 4-6 junior staff members to plan their work, delegate work to ensure timely completion of work, train junior staff and remain their main POC for any queries while reporting progress to partners. Alongside this, they will have their own client portfolio to work through demonstrating strong tax advisory while remaining direct with clients.
**Job Description: Manage a client portfolio including preparation of accounts and tax returns, preparing UK statutory financial statements, preparing all necessary information for VAT and HMRC tax filing, supervising junior staff and review of work prior to finalisation (all areas identified above), and bookkeeping as required.
The candidate must have strong team management skills to work with junior staff, plan and supervise their work, mentor and train them as well as manage their own work portfolios.
The Candidate will be required to have strong client facing skills and technical tax advising skills.
**Qualification: ACCA part or full qualified with minimum 6 years of relevant experience. Minimum 4 years experience of working on UK accounts and tax with a UK back end/ outsourcing office is mandatory.
**Job skills: Experience of managing processes, supervising and training junior reportees and establishing departmental SOPs to be successfully implemented. Strong reporting and financial skills and Strong Research aptitude. The candidate must be proficient in excel and written English skills. It is mandatory that the candidates have a strong understanding of UK reporting and taxation rules.
