Your field of responsibility

Join us as an Auditor – Third Party and Outsourcing within our cutting edge audit function, where you will learn state of the art audit methodologies. In close collaboration with the Audit Manager, you will contribute to audit planning, fieldwork and reporting and have an opportunity to influence at the highest level on one of the Bank’s key risks. You will interact directly with key partners in the Bank and you will be engaged in presenting findings to senior management. As part of our globally distributed team, you will have access to advanced auditing capabilities and will also have the opportunity to grow your understanding of the Bank by working on a wide range of different global and local audits both focused on Third Party and Outsourcing and other risks.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Learn state of the art audit methodologies.
  • Contribute during audit planning, fieldwork and presentation of findings to senior management, in close collaboration with the Audit Manager.
  • Demonstrate your leadership by managing, supervising and monitoring audits to ensure efficient and high quality delivery against agreed timeframes.
  • Enhance your understanding of the Bank by working on a wide range of different global and local audits across the Bank.
  • Provide insights to support a variety of bank-wide initiatives and special projects.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • A detailed understanding of the challenges faced by a Global Internal Audit function, having had at least two years of proven, relevant experience in audit, risk or accounting in the financial services industry or a similarly high regulated environment.
  • Basic understanding of risk and how controls can mitigate those risks while being commercial – including experience of assessing third party and outsourcing risks and controls, whilst being commercial in your opinions.
  • Awareness of the relevant regulatory environment, particularly in relation to third party risks.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and keen to collaborate with data specialists to shape audit tests and acquire relevant insights from data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards and precision in delivery.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, [German would be an asset when working alongside colleagues in Zurich but it’s not a pre-requisite] and ability to present information in a succinct and concise way.
  • A positive, can-do approach and committed to tackling problems.
  • Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking and time management skills enable you to quickly gain trust and deliver effectively towards deadlines.
  • Results-oriented, dedicated, hardworking, able to work on own initiative and deliver on time and under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility.
