We’ll help you succeed

You’ll be a Manager driving client engagements and delivery of work that will strengthen the growth and development of the Contract & Commercial Risk practice, by supporting clients in mitigating risk and optimising value from third party relationships. You may work across the contracting lifecycle, including procurement advisory, contract and commercial management, commercial audits, cost reduction etc.

You’ll be responsible for helping to manage engagements end-to-end, driving quality and profitability, team development and great client experience. You’ll also be expected to manage junior staff, and engage in growth initiatives and business development within the team. You’ll also:

  • Take ownership of client engagements to help deliver exceptional service and identify potential opportunities to build repeat business
  • Manage and deliver client engagements end-to-end, from planning and budgeting to quality reviews and reporting
  • Develop and monitor plans in order to ensure team deliverables are achieved
  • Coach junior staff in approach, methodology and provide managerial support and guidance to the team
  • Engage with clients to clearly communicate and present observations, impact and recommendations

  • Recent experience of working in a professional services environment, such as working on cross-territory and/or cross service-line opportunities in a client-facing role
  • Experience of utilising auditing rigour and methodology in a commercial context
  • Understanding of risk management and mitigation
  • Track record of planning and delivering exceptional client outcomes and follow-on engagements
  • Experience of managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines
  • Deep understanding of procurement, contract and commercial governance / management, cost reduction services, contract management reviews and/or commercial contract audits
  • Proficiency in MS suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desirable

  • Professional qualification preferred – e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Contract related certification – IACCM, CILT and/or CIPS
  • Experience in NEC / construction contracts and/or commercial environment
  • Experience in negotiations and contract exit also preferred
  • Familiarity with programme management tools, methodology and software
