About The Role
Role Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Role Type: Fixed Term, Full-Time

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and supporting the delivery of the Standardized Measurement Approach (SMA) for Operational Risk and Compliance Management. This role is critical to ensure that new requirements under APS 115 prudential standard are clearly understood, articulated and impacts are clearly defined. You will be working closely as well as coordinating between various key stakeholders to design an operating model to support SMA in BAU.

We are looking for someone with the following key attributes :
  • Proven ability to influence and manage through collaboration.
  • Identifying and analyzing information quickly and efficiently, and using innovative and creative solutions to solve problems.
  • Sound understanding of the internal and external risk environment.
  • Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner
  • Ensure ANZ's core values are always maintained in dealing with staff, colleagues and customers.
About You:

To be successful in the role, you will have the following skills, knowledge and experiences:
  • Interpretation of new APRA regulatory requirements for operational risk reporting and capital management
  • Undertake and communicate impact assessments including current state vs. future
  • Assist in design and delivery of new regulatory reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in communicating with senior executives.
  • Knowledge of APRA Prudential and Reporting Standards is desirable
  • Facilitate workshops and liaise with multiple senior stakeholders and SMEs to gather/ translate requirements and help in future operating mode design
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to ANZ policies, processes and regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Adopt a pro-active communication engagement strategy to anticipate future business needs and to keep stakeholders informed of key risks and issues - collaborating to formulate remediation actions.
