Job Description
A large, Surrey-based Accountancy Practice are looking for an excited and motivated Management Accountant, that has come about due to the growth of the firm.
With over 25 members of staff, they are committed to delivering exceptional service to a wide range of clients, both in the UK and Overseas. Amongst other sectors, they have a strong client base in the Care Home sector, as well as IT companies, Dental institutions, and the Construction industry. As Management Accountant, you will be joining a strong team of approx. six staff memebrs, working mostly, but not exclusively, on Statutory Accounts.
As the Management Accountant you will be a part or newly qualified (ACCA or ACA) candidate with some experience in Bookkeeping and a good knowledge of Xero. Due to the fast expansion of the firm, there will be plenty of opportunity for growth and progression. The firm are looking for a self-motivated individual, who can work to tight deadlines, and willingness to learn. Salary wise they are looking Circa £28K, dependent on experience.
Main requirements for Management Accountant Include:
-Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for a large portfolio of clients across various sectors
-Completing VAT returns and FCA regulatory filings
-Organising Client records and accurate management accounts
-A range of adhoc financial tasks and project work, i.e. cash flow forecast and budgeting
-Strong experience working within practice and have exposure to essential elements of client service and delivery
-Experience in Bookkeeping
-Good knowledge of Xero
